Community Groups

Community Groups are intergenerational, Gospel-centered, and one of the most tangible ways we have found to live out our mission. Click below to learn more or sign up today!

Membership Matters

Membership Matters is a unique class offered for anyone who is prayerfully considering becoming a member at First Baptist Powell. There is no commitment to join upon attending the class. Our next session is beginning January 9th. For more information and to register, please click below.

Prayer Requests

We consider it a privilege to pray for you and your family. Please let us know how we can be interceding for you and how we can join you in rejoicing over answered prayers.

Counseling

At First Baptist Powell, we offer various types of support group ministries including DivorceCare and GriefShare. Everyone in our community is welcome to join, whether you’re a member of our church or not. Please click below to register.

Core Classes

Jump into one of our new Core Classes beginning in January! Core Classes are short-term studies (6-24 weeks) focused on a singular topic or book of the Bible. These classes provide much of the core knowledge that every disciple needs to grow in the grace of the Lord. Core Classes are open to all First Baptist members and guests.

New Testament Reading Plan

Join us in 2022 as we read through the New Testament! Each week, we will read through a series of passages and memorize verses as a congregation. Pick up a copy of the Reading Plan in the Point or download it now by clicking below.

Women's Ministry Winter Meet & Greet

The Women’s Ministry is excited to host their Winter Meet & Greet Thursday, January 20th from 6:30-8pm in the Point. This event provides the opportunity for old and new members to come and fellowship with one another. Click below to sign up by January 16th.

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering

We are thrilled to announce that through your generous giving and God’s faithfulness, we have exceeded our goal of $90,000, raising a total of $109, 278.54 for missionaries worldwide. What an incredible kingdom impact!

We are a gospel-centered community who loves God and others.
