Hope Will Rise

Hope Will Rise is a night of advocacy + giving to support Street Hope TN and their mission to end the sexual exploitation and sex trafficking of children in Tennessee. You are invited to join us at First Baptist Powell on Thursday, September 16th. Doors open at 6:15 PM and coffee and dessert will be provided! One Community. Together for One Mission. Let’s raise a voice for the voiceless together.

Wednesday Core Classes

The health and vitality of any local church is tied to its doctrinal fidelity. Therefore, it behooves every member to know and understand what their church believes. The purpose of this series of ten lessons is to systematically walk through the primary doctrinal statement of First Baptist Powell, The Abstract of Principles. Join us on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM in room 241.

Membership Matters

Membership Matters is a unique class offered for anyone who wants to join or is prayerfully considering becoming a member at First Baptist Powell. You are not making a commitment to join just by attending the class. For more information and to register, please click below.

Prayer Requests

We consider it a privilege to pray for you and your family. Please let us know how we can be interceding for you and how we can join you in rejoicing over answered prayers.

At First Baptist Powell, we offer various types of support group ministries including DivorceCare, Single & Parenting, and GriefShare. Everyone in our community is welcome to join, whether you’re a member of our church or not. Please click below to register.

Strive Soccer

We are excited for another Strive Soccer Season! Spaces are filling up quickly, so please register today if you’d like your 4-7 year old children to participate. The family friendly cost is $35 per child and $100 max per family.
