GriefShare

It hurts to lose someone. Find help at GriefShare — a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. The 13-week biblically based seminars feature a video, small group discussion, and a workbook. Please register by clicking below.

Wednesday Nights

Join us on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:00 PM in the Youth Worship Center for a time of prayer and seeking the Lord. Please feel free to stop by anytime and stay as long as you can.

AWANA CLUB

Register your children for AWANA Club at First Baptist Powell today! The Club meets Wednesdays at 6:30 PM in the Family Life Center.

Christmas backpacks

If you’ve been looking for specific ways to give to those in need, please consider donating to help our Women on Mission provide Christmas backpacks for impoverished children and teens. After the supplies are purchased, we will schedule a day for anyone in the church to join together and help fill the backpacks!

Membership Matters

If you are interested in exploring what it means to be a member of First Baptist Powell, we invite you to join us at our next Membership Matters. Please call the church office at (865) 947-9074 to register.

Sunday Mornings

We invite you to visit our new Sunday Mornings page each week for resources including sermon notes, announcements, the link to give online, a place for prayer requests, and more!

Sermon Series

Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:00 or 11:15 AM for worship. Pastor Perry is preaching verse-by-verse through the book of Philippians.

Welcome, Guests!

Whether it’s your first time at First Baptist Powell, you’ve been several times before, or you’re still thinking about visiting, we’re glad you’re here! We consider it an honor and a privilege to welcome guests of all ages and backgrounds to our church. We hope if you’ve already visited that you felt right at home. Please visit fbcpowell.org/guests to let us know how we can better serve you. We will never share your personal information or surprise you with a home visit. Please feel free to share as little or as much information as you feel comfortable with.

online giving

During these uncertain days, now is a great time to continue worshipping and honoring the Lord through online giving. Your generosity will help us as we continue to serve our community during a troubling time. On our website are two videos that will instruct you on how to give using Realm eGiving. Anyone can give to FBP by going to fbcpowell.org/give.

Prayer Requests

We consider it a privilege to pray for you and your family. Please let us know how we can be interceding for you and how we can join you in rejoicing over answered prayers.

Project 2020

Project 2020 is a fundraising initiative that will allow us to make some renovations to our facilities. For more details, including the link to give, please click below.
