Men’s Winter Retreat 2024
Location
Our Men’s Winter Retreat will be held at Carson Springs Baptist Conference Center, 1120 Carson Springs Road Newport, TN 37821 (www.tnbaptist.org/carson-springs). See more about the Conference Center below.
Event Timeline
This retreat will begin at 5:30 pm, Friday, January 26, 2024. We ask those who can to come earlier in order to check into the hotel prior to the beginning of the first session, and not to miss supper! Supper will be served at 5:45pm. The retreat will conclude around 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 27, 2024.
Transportation
Church vans will be made available on a first-come first-serve basis, but we encourage ride sharing. Both methods of transportation should be great times for fellowship.
Conference Center Accommodations
The Conference Center has an attached 36-room hotel. Accommodations are as one would expect to find in a hotel. Attendees will be assigned two to a room (there are two double beds in each room). Let us know if you would like to room with anyone in particular.
Cost
The cost to attend is $ 70.00 per person. This will include your hotel accommodations, three full meals, transportation (if you ride a church van), coffee, drinks, snacks, etc. We encourage all men to attend. Scholarships are available to offset costs if necessary.
We encourage men with sons who are at least juniors in high school or older to bring their sons (or grandsons who are this age) with them. We also encourage sons to bring their fathers with them!
The deadline to register for the Men’s Winter Retreat is December 29th, 2023.
