Women’s Ministry

The Women’s Ministry at First Baptist Powell exists to disciple and mentor women through Bible studies, retreats, and other relational and social settings. Our goal is to encourage one another to apply God’s Word by living Christ-centered lives.

Galatians Study Sign-up

Galatians | May 18 – July 20 (10 weeks) | Janice Ramsey | Room 241

The Precepts In & Out study for ladies will focus on Paul’s letter to the churches in Galatia that were struggling with this issue, a letter that still speaks today. Its message clearly defines the relationship between Law and grace, and how Christians live under grace, led by the Spirit, free from bondage. We will answer the questions: What does it mean to live under grace? Do you have to keep the Law to be a Christian? All of it or just part of it? Who is right? How will we know?

*This class requires a sign-up, which can be accessed below. There is also a book that must be purchased for $12.25 from the Precept website
