After much prayer and consideration, the Senior Pastor Search Team and Elders are excited to announce Perry Garrett as our Senior Pastor Candidate. The Lord gave us many excellent candidates, but we believe Perry is the man the Lord has sent us to fill His pulpit at First Baptist Powell. We are looking forward to you getting to know more about Perry over the next several weeks. Please click below for more details.
While we will continue to Livestream our Sunday morning worship services, First Baptist Powell has restarted in-person gatherings. In order to help us plan and abide by health guidelines, please click below to register your family if you plan to attend in-person this Sunday.
Summer 2020 may look different than we originally planned, but we are excited to host our first-ever VIRTUAL VBS June 22-26! It’s totally free to register, and it can be done anytime that works best for your family from home or even on vacation!
During these uncertain days, now is a great time to continue worshipping and honoring the Lord through online giving. Your generosity will help us as we continue to serve our community during a troubling time. On our website are two videos that will instruct you on how to give using Realm eGiving. Anyone can give to FBP by going to fbcpowell.org/give.
Church offices will be closed through at least April 30, 2020. All in-person gatherings at First Baptist Powell have been cancelled through April 26, 2020. However, while we will not be meeting to worship together in the church building, we will still have a small team present to lead 10:30 AM Sunday morning services and 6:30 PM Wednesday evening services, which will be available to live-stream at fbcpowell.org/watch/live.
We are a gospel-centered community who loves God and others by:
Worshipping Him • Proclaiming His Word • Sharing His Gospel • Equipping His People
