Conference Information

WKND United is in partnership with local Baptist Churches in our community. This is a WKND of intensive focus on God’s Word and raising our affections to Christ in Worship. Primarily, we will be spending time together as our own student ministry through small groups, serve projects, and fellowship. Worship, teaching, and some meal times, will be spent as a whole group with other churches.

COST

Prior to November 2, the cost is $30.00

Price is raised to $40.00 after that date.

Camilo Buchanan

Today, Camilo serves as the Young Adult Ministry Leader at Passion City Church in Atlanta, GA. He enjoys spending his time pouring into students and leaders, writing content, traveling, and eating with friends & family, alongside his wife, Emily, and their puppy, Rummi.

Brainerd Worship

Brainerd Worship Team serves out of Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN. Brainerd led us in last year’s WKND United Conference.

Friday Nov. 18

6:00pm – Meet at the Family Life Center (FLC) at First Baptist Powell

7:00pm – Meet at Wallace for Check-In, Games, & Ice Cream Bar

8:00pm – Large Group Worship Session 1 at Wallace

9:15pm – Depart for FBP

9:45pm – Small Group Session in FBP Classrooms

Midnight – Lights Out (Hopefully)

Saturday Nov. 19

8:30am – Breakfast at FBP

9:15am – Small Group Session 2 FBP Classrooms

10:15am – Break/Free Time

12:00pm – Lunch at FBP

1:00pm – Meet at Assigned Serve Locations

1-3:30pm – Serve Projects

3:30pm – Leave for FBP

5-6:00pm – Roundtable Session at Wallace

6:00pm – Large Group Dinner at Wallace

7:00pm – Large Group Worship Session 2 at Wallace

8:30pm – Small Group Session 3 in Wallace Classrooms

9:45pm – Late Night Activity – Silent Disco at Wallace

11pm – Depart for FBP

Midnight – Pickup at FBP

Sunday Nov. 20

8:45am – Sunday School Classes at FBP

10:15am – Worship Service at FBP (wear your WKND United T-Shirts)

Bible, Pen & Notebook
Clothes
- Apparel must be in accordance with FBPstudents dress code.
- Saturday Afternoon (Nov. 20)
  - We are doing a service project with Operation Backyard from 1-4pm. Be sure to pack clothes that can get dirty. We will be doing some landscape work and possibly painting.
  - Warm work clothes
- Saturday, Evening (Nov. 20)
  - We are doing a ‘White Out’ for our Silent Disco event

- We will be staying in First Baptist Powell gymnasium Friday night. Air mattresses will make the stay more comfortable. If you need assistance in purchasing one, please let us know.
