JOINING A GLOBAL PRAYER MOVEMENT

On Sunday, November 1, we will join believers around the world in observing the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church.

Together, we will remember and pray for Christians who face opposition, suffering, and persecution because of their faith in Jesus.

Throughout November, we will highlight different people groups and share specific prayer points to guide our prayers. We invite you to participate each week as we remember the persecuted church before the Lord.

HOW CAN WE PRAY?

The church is one body. When one member suffers, we all suffer together (1 Corinthians 12:26). Let these requests guide your prayers throughout November.

  • Pray for believers facing persecution, imprisonment, and hostility because of their faith.
  • Pray for strength, courage, and perseverance for those who suffer for the name of Christ.
  • Pray for pastors, missionaries, and church leaders serving in hostile environments.
  • Pray that the gospel would advance among people groups with little or no access to the Christian faith.
  • Pray that those who persecute Christians would come to know Christ.

"Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body."
Hebrews 13:3
May we faithfully remember our brothers and sisters around the world, bearing their burdens before the Lord and asking Him to strengthen His church and advance His gospel among the nations.
