STUDENT CENTER

Mission: Our desire is to see students awakened by the gospel and thrive within the local church.

We see this desire fulfilled through the regular diet of expostional (verse-by-verse) preaching  through a book of the Bible, along with occasional topical studies, and equipping students with opportunities to serve Christ’s church.

Wednesday evenings are for 6th-12th graders.

FBP Sunday School Rooms

The Sunday School classroom is one of the best ways for students to interact and grow together in their love for God, His Word, and one another. Our Sunday School classes are divided by grade level and gender.

Upcoming Events

This Wednesday, May 13th, we conclude the semester by looking at what it truly means to live on mission as followers of Christ. In a world marked by confusion and compromise, Christians are called to shine distinctly, pursue holiness, and hold fast to the gospel wherever God has placed them.

Join us as we walk through Philippians 2:12–16 and consider what it means to be “lights in the world.”

Living on Mission
Shining as Lights in a Dark World
Philippians 2:12–16
On May 20, from 6-8pm, join us for a summer kickoff at First Baptist Powell's ball fields. There will be FREE pizza and drinks, games, inflatables, and food trucks! Don't miss out on this fun kickoff to the summer.

Register here so we can plan for food.
This summer, our student ministry will gather for a nine-week study titled The Shape of Holiness, exploring how God forms His people into the image of Christ. Together, we will examine topics such as sanctification, spiritual disciplines, fighting sin, identity in Christ, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the ordinary means God uses to shape our lives.

In a culture constantly trying to form us, this series will help students understand how the gospel transforms us from the inside out for the glory of God.
We are excited to announce our annual Summer trip to King's Island! This trip is available to those who have completed 6th-12th grade.

King's Island, if you're not familiar, is an amusement park located in Mason, Ohio. Some of the best rides in the country are located there!

The dates for the trip are July 17-19. Cost is $250

The cost of the trip covers your child's day pass at King's Island Amusement Park & Water Park, along with 1 - single meal at the park, a fast-lane pass, an unlimited drink pass, and their 2-night hotel stay.

Here is a copy of a last year's schedule for reference of how the trip looks. We will release an updated schedule closer to date. At a glance: Friday is travel (bring money for food); Saturday is all-day at the park (money for dinner); and Sunday we go to church and travel home.

Registration for this trip will May 13th at 8:00am. Students can register here. Space is limited for this trip.

Deadline to register is June 22nd.
