Mission: Our desire is to see students awakened by the gospel and thrive within the local church.

We see this desire fulfilled through the regular diet of expostional (verse-by-verse) preaching  through a book of the Bible, along with occasional topical studies, and equipping students with opportunities to serve Christ’s church.

Wednesday evenings are for 6th-12th graders.

The Sunday School classroom is one of the best ways for students to interact and grow together in their love for God, His Word, and one another. Our Sunday School classes are divided by grade level and gender.

High Schoolers: On October 15th-16th, we will be taking the opportunity to visit Boyce College, the undergraduate school of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, for their Fall preview days. For the low cost of $25, you can stay on campus, enjoy great food, and visit a wonderful school in the heart of Louisville, KY.

High School Seniors: You are invited to join the college ministry for CROSS CON27, December 31, 2026–January 2, 2027, in St. Louis, Missouri.

CROSS exists to call the next generation to make their lives count by making the name of Jesus known, with a strong emphasis on the gospel, the local church, and God’s heart for the nations.

This year’s theme, “This Day / That Day,” will challenge students to consider how the reality of eternity should shape the way we live faithfully for Christ today. We would love for our seniors to take advantage of this opportunity to be encouraged through biblical teaching, worship, and time together as they prepare for life beyond high school.

Hunter has served as the Student Pastor of FBP students since May of 2019. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Preaching and Youth Minstry from Johnson University and a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He is the proud husband of Leah, and father of Amelia and Charlotte.
