Due to the need and requests for such a group, First Baptist Church of Powell will begin offering a Single & Parenting support ministry in August.
If you’re a single parent, you may be feeling tired, overwhelmed, and a bit under-appreciated. That’s why the Single & Parenting groups were created– to share tips and parenting wisdom that will help you find rest, hope, and encouragement. To learn more about this ministry, visit singleandparenting.org.
Our first meeting will begin at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7th. This will be an introductory “Orientation” session. We will enjoy refreshments, discuss session topics, and answer any questions you might have. The first regular session will be from 6:15 to 8:00 p.m. on August 14th. Then, we will meet one night each week for a total of thirteen weeks. (We will not meet during Knox County Schools’ Fall Break.)
