Due to the need and requests for such a group, First Baptist Church of Powell will begin offering a Single & Parenting support ministry in August.
If you’re a single parent, you may be feeling tired, overwhelmed, and a bit under-appreciated. That’s why the Single & Parenting groups were created– to share tips and parenting wisdom that will help you find rest, hope, and encouragement. Our first meeting will begin at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7th. This will be an introductory “Orientation” session. We will enjoy refreshments, discuss session topics, and answer any questions you might have. The first regular session will be from 6:15 to 8:00 p.m. on August 14th. Then, we will meet one night each week for a total of thirteen weeks. (We will not meet during Knox County Schools’ Fall Break.)
